We are an industrial heating company that focuses on a range of products and services aimed at growth.
Over the years, we have undertaken extensive projects across South America and Africa, deploying advanced Elution Heating systems in diverse countries including Suriname, Mauritania, Mali, Burkina Faso, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Congo DRC, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana, Ethiopia, and Eritrea. Our expertise also extends to Central Asia, with initiatives in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as Southeast Asia, particularly in Indonesia, Laos, and the Philippines.
Our operations have enabled us to develop specialised expertise in Carbon Stripping Elution Systems. We have refined our methodologies, encompassing various stripping techniques such as Pressure Zadra Stripping, AARL Stripping, and Hybrid Zadra-AARL Stripping. This extensive experience positions us at the forefront of optimising and implementing highly efficient gold recovery processes.
Regarding the Occupational Health and Safety Act, No. 85 of 1993, the Minerals Act, No. 50 of 1991, and the Mine Health and Safety Act, No. 29 of 1996, inspecting and testing pressure equipment at specified frequencies is compulsory.
OHS Act:Â Â Â
Statutory inspection and test every three years. Steam Generators - annual external assessment, full statutory review, and pressure test with specific non-destructive testing every three years.
Minerals Act: Inspect annually and pressure test every second year.
Therm Tech SA has suitably qualified personnel registered by the South African Qualification and Certification Committee (SAQCC) to perform this work.
During the statutory inspection, the safety accessories are removed for refurbishment, and the pressure accessories re-calibrated. Some additional assessments will be carried out during every statutory inspection to satisfy our in-house inspection procedures.
Leveraging IIOT technology, Therm Tech has engineered an advanced PLC-driven Burner/Boiler Management System designed to cater specifically to client specifications. Each control system is custom-configured to ensure precise alignment with operational requirements and provide tailored support. The integrated fuel map controller optimises combustion efficiency across the entire burner operating range, achieving up to a 12% increase in performance over traditional control systems. Additionally, our system supports remote diagnostics, allowing our technicians to access your setup for real-time technical assistance during operational failures.
We specialise in designing and installing stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems, executing projects with a high degree of precision. The integrity of our piping installations is essential for maintaining optimal operational safety, significantly reducing maintenance needs, and extending the lifespan of system assets. Our installations adhere strictly to local standards; in the absence of these standards, we implement internationally recognised standards.
Industrial flue gas analysis is not only a regulatory requirement in many jurisdictions but also offers significant advantages beyond compliance. Conducting these analyses, even in the absence of legal obligations, can lead to cost savings, reduced emissions, and improved product quality.
In sectors such as power generation, chemical manufacturing, waste incineration, and cement production, industrial combustion processes are crucial. As operational costs become increasingly critical, the need for robust management through precise monitoring has never been more important. Additionally, the growing pressure to comply with stringent environmental regulations underscores the necessity of practical flue gas analysis.
The spectrum of gases that must be assessed in industrial flue gas analysis includes, but is not limited to:
  ◉ Oxygen (O2)
  ◉ Carbon monoxide (CO)
  ◉ Carbon dioxide (CO2)
  ◉ Nitrogen monoxide (NO)
  ◉ Nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
  ◉ Sulfur dioxide (SO2)
  ◉ Hydrogen sulfide (H2S)
◉ Particulates (including dust and soot)
Many of these compounds pose direct risks to human health and the environment; thus, prioritising a clean combustion process is essential. Achieving this requires regular monitoring and control of the combustion parameters to ensure optimisation and compliance with environmental standards.
